MULTIPLE ENTRY VISIT VISA
(APPLICATION PROCESS: 5-7 WORKING DAYS)
To simplify the entry process for foreign visitors, the Indonesian government, through the Directorate General of Immigration, has implemented a new regulation for the issuance of 5-year Multiple Entry Visas under indexes D1 and D2. The D1 visa is for tourism, while the D2 visa is for official, business, or commercial purposes. Both categories provide a 60-day maximum stay upon arrival. Although these visas allow for multiple entries and exits, visitors must comply with the 60-day limit per arrival. It’s necessary to leave Indonesia after this period, but there’s an option to extend the visa’s stay up to 2 times, allowing for a maximum total stay of 180 days.
Information to note:
- In Indonesia, if you engage in forbidden activities, don’t follow visa rules, or break Indonesian laws during your stay, you may face fines, deportation, or other legal consequences.
- You are prohibited from selling goods or services.
- You are prohibited from working in an employment relationship with an individual or corporation in Indonesia.
- You are prohibited from continuously supervising the production activities of producers/sellers.
- You are prohibited from receiving rewards, wages, or any similar from individuals or corporations in Indonesia.
- You are prohibited from performing art, culture, or behavior that is not in accordance with applicable regulations or norms.
